Former Stag Ian in charge

Former Mansfield Town left back Ian Barraclough has moved into management, by replacing Nigel Adkins at Scunthorpe Utd...

Barraclough, who scored a wonder free kick whilst at Field Mill against Hereford, which shamefully no camera's witnessed, had been in temporary charge of the Iron's for the past few weeks.

He oversaw a terrefic 4-0 away win at Sheffield Utf, before two losses looked to have put the brakes on the hot seat position for him.

However, the board have given the 39 year old, who also played for Notts County after leaving the Stags.

He is joined on the coaching staff by another ex Stags player, with goalkeeper Kevin Pressman becoming his assistant.
