Arnold Signs for Neighbours
Former Mansfield Town frontman Nathan Arnold has signed for neighbours Alfreton Town for the forthcoming season....
Arnold had been plying his trade at Hyde Utd in the Blue Square North division, but will now sign for the rivals just down the A38 from us.
Former Chesterfield (still hated around these parts) player Nicky Lawtold the Non League News "We have signed a very different type of player. He has loads of pace, can play wide, behind the front two or up top alongside one of the other strikers.'
"Coming from Mansfield, he is a local lad who was keen to join us. He is a good age, already has good pedigree and I am sure he is a player our supporters will take to."
Arnold was at Field Mill for over 4 years between 2005 and 2009, and although never really forfilling his pontential, he appears to now have found his level.
