Palmer out of Pocket

Former Stags manager Carlton Palmer has been ordered by court to pay back more than £100,000 to an old friend after a deal for a holiday home fell through...

The court heard businesswoman Mary Aston paid the money to help the retired footballer stave off bankruptcy proceedings from his former wife Jennifer Palmer.

Palmer was recently seen embarrasing himself on celebrity Come Dine with Me on Channel 4.
