Cresswell still Hungry

Former Stags loanee Striker Richard Cresswell is confident he can still make the grade at Premier League standard, after renewing his Sheffield Utd contract....

Although only making a handful of appearances whilst on loan with the Stags, in April 1997, Creswell scored a cracking winning goal at Rochdale during his time at Field Mill.

Now, since his stint at the Stags, he has gone on to bigger and better things, first with Preston, and he made it into the Premier League with Stoke City.

Now at Sheffield Utd, the 32 year hasn't given up on one last dig at the big time.

'I'm an ambitious individual and getting back into the Premiership is something that drives me on. We have got to set our sights on the big prize and we must give it a real good crack' he said of the news of his new
three year deal.
