Hartlepool 1 Mansfield 0 (League 2)

1 - 0

Victoria Park

21/03/15; 3pm

Mansfield became the latest side to suffer defeat at the hands of a resurgent Hartlepool side, who beat us on Saturday to record their third successive win!

Not only did we lose one-nil at Victoria Park we also ended with 10-men so will have a suspension to content with.

After a first half without a goal Hartlepool had an early chance in the second period to change this when Beevers committed a foul on Featherstone, which resulted in a penalty. This was taken by Walker (47) who made no mistake in scoring to give the home side a one-nil lead.

The chances of us getting back into the game were made harder when Brown was shown a straight red card for poor challenge on goalscorer Walker, with his boot very high, to reduce us to 10-men for the remainder

The 10-men would have gained a point but for Hartlepool 'keeper Flinders, he pulled off a fine save to deny Clements.

Even in defeat we seek this, so who was our MotM from this game?
