Mansfield 2-1 AFC Wimbledon (League 2)

2 - 1
AFC Wimbledon

One Call Stadium

Attendance: 3,151

A third win in five-matches was secured by Mansfield on Tuesday as we moved another step towards another season of League 2 football with a win over AFC Wimbledon.

The two-one win, secured courtesy of a winner three-minutes from time, at the One Call Stadium saw us move up to the dizzy heights of midtable!

After a goalless first half Beevers (56), with the help of a deflection, put us into the lead early in the second half but when Tafazolli handled this gave the visitors a chance to draw level from the penalty spot. Francomb (69) fired home with Azeez almost putting AFC Wimbledon ahead.

The decisive goal came with three-minutes to play when Bingham (87), who would have been on loan with Hartlepool had we not recalled him a few weeks back, struck the winner.
