Pep Writes to the Stags
The Stags near miss when they could have faced Manchester City, but were outdone by Cardiff City's unfashionable mob, rumbles on, with no less than Pep Guardiola writing in.
As the manager of the Premier League winners elect waited to see which team he would face in the 4th round of the FA Cup, he decided on taking a trip to the One Call himself as Neil Warnock's side came out undeservedly 4-1 winners to take the prize of hosting City in the last round.
Thankfully, justice was served as Cardiff were thumped by the league leaders.
Now it has been revealed that Pep enjoyed his visit to the Stags and he even took time out from his busy role as managing the current best side in Europe to write a thankyou to the club.
He wrote 'Please except my best wishes to you all and I wish Mansfield Town all the very best for the rest of the season. I look forward to playing you next season maybe in one of the cups!'
What a class act from a super football coach, much more classy than say the likes of Gary Johnson from Cheltenham Town.
