Evans after 'Hostile Atmosphere'
Mansfield Town manager Steve Evans is after the club's supporters to make it a night to remember for the FA Cup replay with Championship side Cardiff City.
The stags secured a heroic 0-0 draw in Cardiff to bring Neil Warnock's side back to the One Call stadium.
There is the chance the TV camera's might want to poke their lens in of course, but Evans told the Nottingham Evening Post 'We want it to be a real hostile atmosphere with a real sporting nastiness.'
'If we make it easy they have the quality to deal with us quite comfortably, but we need to make it a real hostile atmosphere'. He concluded
Evans has recently had a dig at a small section of home supporters due to frustration over comments made from behind the dug out, but he wants all fans to be on board for the replay to guide the club into the 4th round.
First though Mansfield face a tricky league 2 clash at Cambridge United, before they can even think about the FA Cup replay with Cardiff.
