Murray - We Won't Underestimate Dagenham

Murray - We Won't Underestimate Dagenham

Player and assistant gaffer Adam Murray has said that everybody knows we will be in for a tough challenge when we face Dagenham and Redbridge this weekend and he's warned the team that we simply cannot underestimate them.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game, Murray admitted it would definitely be a different type of game to the one we faced against Newport County, as although Dagenham were pretty physical under their former manager John Still, what he has seen of them under Wayne Burnett is more a desire to play and knock the ball around a bit.

'They've got some technical players that we need to be aware of, but we've done our homework. We'll work on them and prepare for the journey down. Under this gaffer they do try and play a little bit.'

One thing in our favour Murray knows is the team spirit and the attitude shown by the whole team.

'The team spirit is incredible at the minute and everyone in the changing room was gutted for him. (Liam Hearn) It shows his character that he wants to come back stronger. We're all backing him.'

The words and actions of the players since Hearn's injury was known about, clearly bouys Murray in terms of them being together and doing all they can for each other.

Ahead of the game he also revealed that we have no new fresh injury concerns to worry about and everybody should be fit and raring to go.
